ADJUNCT LECTURER

ESC 612 - Student Teaching Seminar in Secondary Education

Analysis of problems or practices in secondary school teaching for student teachers. Weekly seminar and assigned in-school activities required. Required state teacher certification assessments supported through the course. PREREQ: Departmental permission. Class Notes: Combined with ESC 471/611.HA01. Meets in person every week during scheduled days/times. 

Music Teacher

Choral director for bass choir, assistant director for high school concert choir and middle school choir , music theory, history and diction IPA.

Group Piano- Beginner and Intermediate

Since 2022.

This class offers and introduction to rhythm, ear training and basic musical concepts. Through traditional piano exercises and modified Dalcroze games, children will learn basic keyboard orientation and will be able to play simple melodies. The final class of the semester will be open to parents and caregivers.
